2006年2月6日上午10:00,中韩客运班轮“紫玉兰”从连云港开航。在此航班上, 运载着从义乌出口到韩国的小商品共计20 个标箱。就在开航的前一天,2006年2月5日, 连云港地区遭遇了14年以来最大的一场雪。因为大雪,高速公路封闭,原计划到港的义乌小商品被迫改走普通公路,到港时间延后,至于延后到何时,谁也不清楚。连云港海关得知此消息后,提前办理了这批货物的电子通关手续,并安排关员5 日当晚连夜值班“等候”货物到来。这一“等”就等到了第二天清晨。货物到港后,加班关员忘记了一夜的疲倦,及时验放出口货物,保证了及时装运。
At 10:00 on February 6, 2006, China-South Korea passenger liner “Purple Magnolia” sailed from Lianyungang. On this flight, carrying a total of 20 TEUs of commodities exported from Yiwu to South Korea. Just before sailing, February 5, 2006, Lianyungang suffered the largest snow in 14 years.
