一桐柏山金银矿床分布于秦岭东西复杂构造带的东段南支,河前庄背斜西北段下古生界歪头山组变质岩系中。赋矿岩石为碳质绢云石英片岩。金银矿床赋存于一定的层位中,受地层的严格控制。上含矿带为破山银矿。矿体一般呈层状、似层状和透镜状。矿体沿走向、倾向变化稳定。全矿区银的平均品位为200克/吨,根据储量计算,为一特大型银矿床。破山银矿的氧化带,有七十~八十米深,其中大破山矿体出露较好,具有露采价值。根据物质组成研究和选矿试验,认为破山银矿的地表氧化矿可以单独处理,这样做在技术上是可行的,经济上也是合理的。破山银矿的氧化带,铅锌含量很低:PbO0.3%,ZnO0.12%,而银的品位平均达200克/吨,可以作为单一银矿处理。这在国内外是比较少见的。由于大多数银的来源出
