纵观中世纪文学和晚清文学在文学史所处的阶段,可以看出二者都处在新旧转换的历史结点上。其后的文艺复兴和五四运动均带来文学的变革浪潮,使得文学发展大步前行,产生了许多青史留名的作家和作品。而中世纪文学和晚清文学作为黎明到来前的黑夜,却也在一定程度上孕育了中西文学的现代性。 Looking at the literature of the Middle Ages and the late Qing literature at the stage of the history of literature, we can see that both are at the historical juncture of old and new transformations. Subsequent Renaissance and the May 4th Movement all brought the wave of change in literature, making the development of literature stride forward, resulting in many writers and works of historical relics. The medieval literature and late Qing literature, as the night before the dawn of the dawn, also gave birth to the modernity of Chinese and Western literature to a certain extent.
