Big Photograph is the world’s largest photographic work completed by the United States Legacy Project Group in five years and uses the old film photography technology to transform an Air Force hangar in Irvine, southern California into The black box, the 32.74 × 9.45 m canvas recorded the last full picture of the former U.S. Marine Corps. This kind of act as a foolish, mountainside artist runs counter to all the technologies of electronic automation. However, using the combination of the contemporary mass media with the most primitive imaging techniques presents an enormous challenge to media innovation.
