This article aims to investigate the changes of plasma MDA and catalase (CAT) concentrations in patients with acute cerebral infarction before and after treatment. MDA is a metabolite of lipid peroxides. There is a positive correlation between the amount of free radicals produced in central nervous system during cerebral infarction and the concentration of MDA in plasma.
