禾缢管蚜(Rhopalosiphum padi)、桃蚜(Myzus persicae)、麦二叉蚜(Schizaphis gramiman)、无网长管蚜(Acythosiphum dirhodum)和甘蓝蚜(Brevicoryne brasssicae)能以非持久性方式传播甘蔗花叶病毒MDB株系(SCMV—MDB),其中无间长管蚜和甘蓝蚜传播SCMV—MDB为国内首次报道,麦长管蚜(Macrosipphum avenae)不传SCMV—MDB,桃蚜和禾缢管蚜经薄膜饲毒不能传播提纯的SCMV一MDB.玉米、玉米自交系及甜玉米都能种传SCMV—MDB,甜玉米金甜24号种传率为0.1%,玉米自交系12号和13号种传率均为0.5%,玉米天玉1号和掖单13号于3~4(区)、5~6(Ⅱ区)和7~8(Ⅲ区)叶期接种SCMV-MDB时的种传率分别为0.09%,0.63%,0.23%和0.27%,0.80%,0.09%二者的花粉不能传播SCMV—MDB,高粱也未见种传SCMV—MDB,天玉1号和掖单13号的胚芽、胚根和胚乳都带毒,种皮不带SCMV—MDB.
