Acoustic emission technology seminars one and two introduced the acoustic emission sources, acoustic emission detection instruments and acoustic emission test parameters. Based on the above two lectures, this paper introduces the acoustic emission characteristics of various materials and the acoustic emission behavior of materials under different experimental conditions. So far, the main application of acoustic emission technology is material research, process quality control and structural integrity assessment components three aspects. These applications are based on the acoustic emission properties of the material.
