从《共产党宣言》的英译本和德文本说明,无产者与工人、劳动者三者从狭义理解是同义词,因此“无产者”可以改译为“劳动者”。“全世界”的译法是意译,按《宣言》德文原文和英、法、俄、日等国译文都是用“所有国家”。所以,《宣言》最后一句话当今可以改译为“所有国家劳动者,联合起来!”这样既符合《宣言》本意,又更切合当代世界和中国情况。
From the English version and the German version of the Manifesto of the Communist Party, it shows that the proletariat and the workers and laborers are synonymous with narrow understanding, so “proletarian” can be translated as “laborer.” The translation of the “world” is a free translation. According to the “Declaration”, the original German text and the translations of Britain, France, Russia and Japan all use “all countries.” Therefore, the last sentence of the “Declaration” can now be translated into “all workers in the world and join together!” This is in line with the original purpose of the Declaration and is more in line with the situation in the contemporary world and China.
