黄陵背斜核部为前震旦系之侵入杂岩。岩性十分复杂,从超基性、基性、中性到酸性的岩石均有出露,但以酸性岩分布最广,素有黄陵花岗岩之称。解放以来,虽经许多单位研究,但对其侵入期、岩性岩相的划分,尚有不同意见,对岩石的分类命名也不一致。如三斗坪的岩石名称,1956年时称花岗片麻岩,以后改名为黑云母石英闪长岩。今年我们在工作中又作了更改,定名为闪云斜长花岗岩,现商榷如下。
