Passive smoking is the most common type of indoor air pollution. To further elucidate the effects of passive smoking, the authors measured the nicotine concentrations of inhaled and exhaled gases during experimental passive smoking and calculated the nicotine absorption rate. The subjects were 17 non-smoking healthy women aged 18-22 years. The experiment was carried out in a room of 8m in length, 6m in width and 2.5m in height with automatic ventilation in the room (6.2 times / hour).
