Trends in Industrial Development and Changes in Structure (I) Industrial Development and Relevant Factors In the last decade of this century and the first 10 years of the next century, China’s industries all grew at a rate higher than the rate of economic growth. The growth rate of the entire 20-year period is divided into two phases. From 1991 to 2000, the first phase of industrial added value grew at an average annual rate of 11%.
