〔据西德英文版《道尔尼邮报》1979年3月号报道〕微光相机是美国航宇局的空间望远镜观测极微弱宇宙物体用的科学仪器。1983年空间望远镜将用航天飞机发射到距地面500—600公里高的地球轨道上。在这样的高度上执行观测任务时,可以不受大气干扰。由于航天飞机载人,所以必要时能在轨道上对该装置进行维修或更换科学仪器。望远镜还能由航天飞机在空间捕获,然后送回到地面。
[According to the German-language version of the Dornier Post in March 1979, the gleam was a scientific instrument used by the NASA Space Telescope to observe very weak cosmic objects. In 1983, the space telescope will use a space shuttle to launch on Earth orbit 500-600 kilometers above the ground. At such altitudes, the observing tasks can be carried out without interference from the atmosphere. Since the space shuttle is manned, it is possible to repair or replace the scientific equipment on orbit when necessary. Telescopes can also be captured by space shuttle space and then returned to the ground.
