目的血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和Notch信号传导途径参与了血管发生的过程。本研究检测Delta样配体4(DLL4)和VEGF在肺腺癌(AC)和细支气管肺泡癌(BAC)患者中的表达量,分析二者与临床病理参数的关系及二者相关性,探讨二者在肿瘤的生长、增殖及远处转移的作用。方法应用免疫组织化学方法检测160例肺癌(包括AC和BAC)石蜡切片组织标本中DLL4和VEGF表达。结果 DLL4和VEGF表达明显高于癌旁正常组织,二者表达量与患者的病理类型、肿瘤直径、临床分期、组织学分级、淋巴结转移明显相关,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),而与患者的年龄、性别无关(P>0.05)。DLL4和VEGF二者表达呈现正相关关系,且DLL4、VEGF在AC中的表达量高于BAC中。结论肺腺癌的预后与血管生成明显相关,DLL4、VEGF高表达能相互作用,共同促进肿瘤细胞发生远处转移,因此影响患者预后,DLL4和VEGF能为肺腺癌的靶向治疗提供新的方法。
Objective Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and Notch signaling pathways are involved in the process of angiogenesis. This study examined the expression of Delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4) and VEGF in patients with lung adenocarcinoma (AC) and bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC), analyzed the relationship between the two and clinicopathological parameters and their relationship The role of both in tumor growth, proliferation and distant metastasis. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of DLL4 and VEGF in 160 specimens of lung cancer (including AC and BAC). Results The expressions of DLL4 and VEGF were significantly higher than those in adjacent normal tissues. The expressions of DLL4 and VEGF were significantly correlated with pathological types, tumor diameter, clinical stage, histological grade and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05) And the patient’s age, gender has nothing to do (P> 0.05). The expression of DLL4 and VEGF showed a positive correlation, and the expression of DLL4 and VEGF in AC was higher than that in BAC. Conclusions The prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma is significantly correlated with angiogenesis. The high expression of DLL4 and VEGF can interact with each other and promote the distant metastasis of tumor cells, thus affecting the prognosis of patients. DLL4 and VEGF can provide new target therapy for lung adenocarcinoma method.
