随着我国改革开放事业和社会的不断进步,我国农村妇女的保健意识在不断增强,农村妇女保健工作已逐渐提到日程上来。但我们也应该看到,我国农村妇女保健工作存在的问题还非常多:妇女保健工作设备落后,保健队伍素质不高,健康教育体系不健全,缺乏了解健康知识的途径等,导致很多疾病不能及时预防和治疗,严重的影响了我国农村妇女的身体健康。目前,国家已逐步加大投资力度,建立和健全农村妇女保健体系,完善妇女保健基本设备;妇女保健医疗队伍不断稳定,妇女保健医生素质不断提高。由于加强了多种形式的农村妇女健康教育,农村妇女保健知识已逐渐普及开来。
