河南医科大学基础医学院博士生导师董子明教授从食道癌细胞中鉴定、克隆出突变的DNA聚合酶β(POLB)基因。这是继国际上结直肠癌、膀胱癌、前列腺癌之后首次在食管癌中发现该酶基因突变,且突变位点与前几种肿瘤不同,证明了食管黏膜癌变与基因损伤不能正常修复密切相关,为食管癌的基因预防与治疗提供了理论依据。
