我们把低成长性而高盈利性的企业称为“狒狒”或“亲王”,即已经失去成为王者的机会,但在其特定的细分市场内可以获得可观利润的企业;还把低成长性且低盈利性企业称为“猴群”或“奴隶”,它们是在“大猩猩”、“国王”、“狒狒”、“王子”所不屑的市场中获得微薄利润的企业。我们所定义的王子型企业,是具有高成长性,但在高盈利性和低盈利性之间上下摇摆的企业。
