The most obvious are the feminist literature in China and Japan. These feminist writers make bold innovations in form, strive to liberate their own individuality, and give up their traditional concepts in the first place and try to break the old traditional view of marriage and family. Through the work it is clear that they feel their urgency to change their own situation and resistance to the old ideas and try to defeat the patriarchal and to gain their freedom. By contrasting the differences between Chinese and Japanese women’s literature, the strong feminism can be clearly perceived.
