河南省档案馆馆藏资料过去是随档案一起保管,一九八○年把资料与档案分开建立了资料室,把资料工作作为档案馆业务建设的一项重要内容来抓,首先抓紧资料的收集,进而遵循集中统一管理的原则,对数万册资料进行了系统的整理、编目,基本上做到有规可循,有目可查,发挥了资料在两个文明建设中的作用。据不完全统计,一九八一年提供利用资料632人次,1746册;一九八二年1951人次,6782册;一九八三年5208人次,8984册。河南省档案馆收藏有珍贵的革命历史资料和大量的民国时期国民党河南省党部、省政府、参议会、日伪河南省政府,解放后中共河南省委、平原省委、省政府、省直各机关、团体的资料。还有少量的图书、志书、报刊,共三万五千余册。对于这些内容丰富,型式多样,涉及各个历史时期、各级组
