佃介眉(1887—1969)是上世纪广东潮汕地区著名的书画家。他一生潜心书画,诗词、文赋、篆刻也无不精妙。他从民国初年开始就在广东潮州地区从事经史、国文、书法、美术的教学和绘画创作,直至终老。他淡泊名利,不与世争,终生未涉足仕途,没有离开过潮汕地区,其书画艺术在广东潮州地区有很大的影响,是近代广东美术史上的重要人物。介眉公一生历经坎坷,晚年时生活甚至到了无以为继的程度,却更加执著于书画,他画笔不辍,发奋著述,将个人的情感完全沉浸在艺术境界之中。这一时期是他书画艺术创作的顶峰,《人曲我偏直》正是佃介眉晚年的代表作之一。
Dian Mianmei (1887-1969) is a famous painter of the last century, Chaoshan in Guangdong Province. His life devoted painting and calligraphy, poetry, Wen Fu, carvings are all exquisite. From the very beginning of the Republic of China, he engaged in the teaching and drawing of history, Chinese, calligraphy and fine arts in Chaozhou, Guangdong until the end of his life. He was fond of fame and fortune, did not struggle with the world, his career did not get involved in career, did not leave the Chaoshan area, his painting and calligraphy in Chaozhou, Guangdong area has a great influence, is an important figure in the history of modern art in Guangdong. His life was so frustrated that his later life even reached unsustainable levels, but he was even more clinging to painting and calligraphy. He painted brushes and worked hard to fully express himself in the realms of art. This period was the culmination of his artistic creation of calligraphy and painting. One of the masterpieces of his later years was his introduction.
