As an example of Durkheim’s first classics of sociology, “Division of Labor Theory” (full name: “social division of labor theory”), his unique thought and methodology left a succession of scholars a valuable intellectual asset. What made the future generations even more touched was Durkheim’s deep concern over the stability of the social order revealed in the lines and the ultimate academic concern for harmony. Through the study of division of labor, he keenly insight into the vicissitudes of society.
