冷弯型钢是以热轧或冷轧带钢为原料，在常温下冷拔压制或辊弯成型，而得到的各种断面形状的建筑用钢材。阐述冷弯型钢在１～２层轻型民用建筑、以工字型截面门式刚架为主的横向承重结构在大跨度公用建筑中的应用及冷弯型钢的特点。通过实例，提出了不同结构中采用冷弯型钢的设计规格。并对冷弯型钢结构的建筑与普通钢结构以及钢筋混凝土结构的建筑在建设周期、用钢量及造价等方面作了分析、比较。
Cold-formed steel is made of hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip steel as a raw material, cold-drawn under normal temperature, pressed or roll formed, and obtained a variety of cross-sectional shape of steel for construction. This paper describes the application of cold-formed steel in the light civil buildings of 1st to 2nd floors, the I-shaped cross-section portal frame-based horizontal load-bearing structures in large-span public buildings, and the characteristics of cold-formed steel. By way of example, design specifications for cold-formed steels in different structures have been proposed. The analysis and comparison of the construction period, steel consumption, and cost of the construction of the cold-formed steel structure with the ordinary steel structure and the reinforced concrete structure were performed.
