据调研帆构Jupiter的最新调查报告显示,到2008年,西欧地区的网民数量将达到2.11亿,与2002年相比增长37％。届时,相当于该地54％的人口会经常通过公司或家庭的网络访问国际互联网。在未来几年内,法国、西班牙和意大利的网络发展速度将保持高速增长之势,增长幅度将分别达到90％、88％和55％。其中法国的网民数量将达到3100万,仅次于德国和英国。而后两者早已经历过网络普及的高峰期。
According to a survey by Jupiter, the survey shows that by 2008, the number of Internet users in Western Europe will reach 211 million, an increase of 37% over 2002. By then, 54% of the population will regularly access the Internet through the company or home network. In the next few years, France, Spain and Italy will maintain their network growth at a high speed of 90%, 88% and 55% respectively. The number of Internet users in France will reach 31 million, second only to Germany and the United Kingdom. Both have long since experienced the peak of internet popularity.
