新疆和田玉属于透闪石玉,前人对其物理性质和成分特征做了系统研究,并积累大量的科学数据,即和田玉是含水的钙铁镁质硅酸盐矿物集合体,主成分是Si O256.08%~59.35%,Ca O 11.54%~13.78%,Mg O 23.68%~26.13%,其3种成分占玉石总成分91%~98%,而CO2仅为0.30%。努尔阿迪力江《用EDXRF法对新疆和田玉进行元素分析》一文研究的样品(羊脂玉和白玉)中含有较大比重的C元素,分别为24.545%和54.216%,计算得出羊脂玉中碳元素含量是白玉的2.25倍,并得出白玉、青玉和羊脂玉可用碳元素作为特征元素进行鉴别标志。为此,根据前人对和田玉地质学特征的研究,得出新疆和田地区羊脂玉和白玉中透闪石富Si、Mg和Ca,低Na、K、Al、Mn,不含或少量含有C元素。是否能用碳元素作为白玉、青玉和羊脂玉的特征元素有待研究。据成矿背景及岩石化学研究资料分析,11、12号样品可能为透闪石化白云大理岩,位于镁橄榄石带—白云石大理岩之间。

Whether carbon can be used as white jade, sapphire and suet jade characteristics of the elements to be studied. According to the metallogenetic background and petrochemical research data analysis, Sample Nos. 11 and 12 may be tremolitic dolomitic marble located between forsterite-dolomite marble.
