华裔美国作家汤亭亭的小说隐喻式的讲述了在美华裔的种种经历,也体现她对文化身份认同的努力和思考。她对中国文化意象进行了改写,挪用,拼凑,展示了中国文化在东西方双重语境下的书写方式,也揭示文化认同的策略和调适。在多元文化共存的时代背景下,研究华裔作品中的中国文化意象对研究中国文化的传播,和作家及作品的价值都具重要意义。
The metaphor of the Chinese American writer Maxine Ting tells the story of the Chinese Americans in the United States and reflects her efforts and reflections on cultural identities. She rewrote, embezzled and pieced together Chinese cultural images, demonstrating how Chinese culture is written under the dual context of East and West, and also revealed strategies and adjustments for cultural identity. Under the background of multicultural coexistence, it is of great significance to study the dissemination of Chinese culture and the value of writers and works in the study of Chinese cultural images in Chinese-American works.
