当50年一遇的特大冰冻灾害袭击湖南全境,三湘大地已是冰封千里,国道省道路路难行,京珠高速被迫中断,京广线列车受阻,黄花机场一度关闭,湖南交通连连告急,大批旅客滞留在春节回家路上。湖南气象部门牢记“为民管天”的使命,把防御冰冻灾害应急气象服务作为头等大事,加强交通气象服务的针对性,准确预报,超前预警,全力以赴保驾护航,为保障春运的顺利进行、为夺取“破”冰通路的最终胜利作出了积极贡献。
