前言中药天南星为我国常用药材,沿用迄今已有二千多年的历史,《神农本草经》列为下品,味苦、辛;性温。主要用于祛风定惊,散结化痰,外用治疗疮肿毒、蛇虫咬伤。近年来曾用于治疗宫颈癌,在临床有较好的效果。我们在筛选抗生育药物时,发现掌叶半夏、半夏等的蛋白质成分,有一定的药理作用,但作用不稳定。在民间,掌叶半夏常兼作天南星及半夏用。为求实验材料正确性,我们将采得的块茎进行栽培,从原植物,生药、花粉形态和生物化学等对它们的种类问题进行了比较系统的整理。现将工作简要报道,以引起有关药材部门的重视。

In order to test the correctness of the material, we will adopt the cultivation of tubers, from the original plants, crude drugs, pollen morphology and biochemistry and so on their types of problems were systematically organized. Now a brief report on the work in order to attract the attention of the relevant medicine departments.
