I remember when I was studying painting positive “Cultural Revolution ” period, “red, light, bright ” is the main style of painting. Once, the landscape paintings of a group of revolutionary shrines in the window of the street shop fascinated me deeply. There is no fiery sun on the screen, but gray tones make it look elegant. Although I was still not quite sure about the aesthetic qualities of painting style, this unique image touched me deeply. Later, I had the honor to get acquainted with the author of this painting, Zhang Shichun from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and studying with him made me lay a good foundation for painting.
