“话说天下大势,合中有分,分中有合”,Intel 如是说。面对互联网与电子商务的大潮,传统网络已无法满足需求。有志于做弄潮儿的企业,纷纷提出了自己对新一代网络的理解。Intel 旗帜鲜明地提出了自己的观点:语音与数据融合,数据厂商与电信厂商融合,服务商/运营商分工细化。融合的技术与灵活的服务相结合的网络,实现的是“All be eBIZ”。语音与数据大融合这一融合已经开始,而且必将愈演愈烈。真正的融合是两者的互相靠拢,而非经常引起误解的语音单方面向数据并轨。它可以分为两部分:语音数据化与数据语音化。语音数据化的一个典型例子是 VOIP,它是语音本身被打成数据包的应用。
