On July 15, 2017, Hurun Research Institute and Huijian Migrants jointly released the “White Paper on Migrant Immigration and Hurun China Investment Immigration in 2017”. The white paper shows that 46.5% of Chinese HNWIs surveyed are considering immigration, and 9% have already immigrated or are applying. Eighty-four percent of HNWIs are concerned about the depreciation of the Renminbi, a 50% increase over last year. Over six in the next three years, China’s housing prices will rise.
