海滩岩是在热带、亚热带气候条件下,近岸海水迅速蒸发,盐类从过饱和的海水中结晶析出,胶结贝壳类生物残骸而迅速成岩的一种岩石。我们在考察福建沿海泉州至汕头的地震活动断层时,继前人的工作,进一步发现较新时期和近代沉积的海滩岩成片地分布于福建、广东沿海高低潮间带之间(图1),并发现由于全新世时期的断块差异运动,海滩岩的出露高程发生明显变化。 众所周知,地震的发生与断块运动密切相
Beach rock is a kind of rock rapidly diagenetic in the tropical and subtropical climates, where the nearshore seawater evaporates rapidly, the salt crystallizes out of the saturated seawater and binds the shellfish biological debris. In our review of the seismic fault in Quanzhou of Fujian Province to Shantou, following the work of our predecessors, we further found that the beach rocks deposited in recent years and modern times were distributed in patches between the high and low intertidal zones of Fujian and Guangdong (Figure 1) , And found that due to the block movement during the Holocene, the exposed height of beach rocks changed obviously.
