March 20 this year, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange launched the GEM index, the index reached its highest point of 1045.32 on March 27, it all the way down, although some rebound during the period, but only technical, no substantive performance. As of May 12, the GEM index has dropped to 622.15 points, down from a high of 423.17 points. The market price of 14 of the 22 GEM companies fell below the issue price.
