惠州位于广东省东南部,珠江三角洲东北端,南临南海大亚湾,与深圳、香港毗邻,是中国大陆除深圳外距离香港最近的城市,也是著名的侨乡。惠州市属珠三角经济区,现辖惠城区、惠阳区两区和博罗县、惠东县、龙门县三县,设有大亚湾经济技术开发区和仲恺高新技术产业开发区两个国家级开发区。陆地面积1.12万平方千米,占珠三角经济区面积的1/4。海域面积4520平方千米,海岸线长223.6千米,是广东省的海洋大市之一。
Huizhou lies in the southeastern part of Guangdong Province, the northeast end of the Pearl River Delta, the South China Sea Daya Bay, and is adjacent to Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It is the nearest city to mainland China except Shenzhen to Hong Kong and is also a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Huizhou belongs to the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, which has jurisdiction over two districts of Huicheng District, Huiyang District, Boluo County, Huidong County and Longmen County. There are two state-level development zones, namely Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone and Zhongkai High and New Technology Industrial Development Zone . The land area of 11,200 square kilometers, accounting for the Pearl River Delta economic zone area of 1/4. Sea area of 4520 square kilometers, 223.6 kilometers long coastline, is one of the marine market in Guangdong Province.
