目前世界各国的煤矸石排量很大。据日本1963年报导,在坑口原煤中,矸石约占40～50％,此外尚有原煤产量20～30％的掘进矸石。1963年日本矸石排量达3500万吨。
At present, coal gangue in all countries in the world is very heavy. According to reports from Japan in 1963, in pit coal, gangue accounts for about 40-50%. In addition, there are 20-30% of gangue dredged from raw coal production. In 1963 Japan gangue displacement reached 35 million tons.
