80年代的连铸技术日新月异,从一个侧面反映世界钢铁工业在经历过严重的衰退以后,正以质代量,面临着一场深刻的技术变革。连铸技术不但经济效益显著,而且推动着各个钢铁生产环节的重新组合。这种组合不仅是为了实现连续炼钢的设想,而且有可能使铁-钢-材的生产,形成连续作业的体系。我国钢铁工业的连铸生产仍处于起步阶段,在执行对外开放政策,大力引进国外先进技术的今天,有识之士必须密切注意连铸发展的新动向,决策各方应该打破常规,组织超前引进,消化吸收和自行开发连铸新技术,以加速我国钢铁工业的前进步伐。为此,本刊将连续译载1987年《钢时代》国际版刊出的连铸专集,内容包括连铸控制技术,薄型板坯和带钢的铸连,水平连铸,小方坯、大方坯和板坯的连铸,中间罐和结晶器的设计,以及不锈钢的连铸等,仅供读者研究参考和供鞍钢在增建连铸设备时借鉴。
