幼儿园阶段的孩子正处于人生启蒙阶段,在这一阶段对他们进行适时适量的科学素养教育,有助于激发他们对科学的探索兴趣,树立科学的态度,获得科学的精神,培养科学的素养。然而,现阶段我国幼儿园科学素养教育尚显稚嫩,反映出观念陈旧、内容形式单调、内容布局欠合理、教师主导课堂等问题,幼教工作者应明确教育目标、创建多样形式、丰富教学内容、协同多方力量进行幼儿科学教育,以改善科学教育的不良现状。
