Sinar Mas Group, a well-known Indonesian consortium, was founded by Mr Wong Yat-tsung, a well-known Asian entrepreneur in Asia. His business focuses on four core industries: pulp and paper, agriculture and food, finance and real estate. Among them Pulp and Paper Group - Asia Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (APP) was formally established in October 1994 and headquartered in Singapore. APP is based on its own strength and operational excellence. Now it has developed into one of the top ten paper mills in the world with total assets of 18.1 billion U.S. dollars.
