图书馆档案是图书馆在工作活动中直接形成的、包括党、政、工、团和业务部门的各种文字,图表、声像等不同形式的文书档案和业务档案等,是图书馆工作活动的历史记录,是提高图书馆工作效率和工作质量的必要条件,是国家的宝贵财富。随着目前全国学习贯彻《中华人民共和国档案法》、各图书馆开始注意加强自身档案业务建设之机,笔者特将1989年10月拟定的《广东省中山图书馆档案分类表》在此刊出,以祈推进图书馆档案的建设,也诚望图书馆界的同行们
