“文化自觉”包括三个方面的内容:一是需要自觉文化建设的重要性;二是需要自觉各民族文化的民族性;三是需要自觉文化发展的先进性。具体到今天的中国,也就是需要自觉文化建设在中国特色社会主义现代化建设中的重要性,自觉中华文化的民族性,自觉坚持社会主义先进文化的前进方向。唯有如此,才能对“文化自觉”作出完整而准确的理解,也才能真正实现“文化自觉”。
“Cultural Consciousness ” includes three aspects: First, the importance of conscious cultural construction; second, the need to consciously ethnic nationality; third is the advanced nature of conscious cultural development. Specific to today’s China, that is, the importance of conscious cultural construction in the socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, the self-consciousness of the nationality of Chinese culture and the consciously upholding the direction of the advanced socialist culture. Only in this way can we make a complete and accurate understanding of “cultural consciousness” and truly realize “cultural consciousness.”
