高棉文化是柬埔寨人自己的文化,而非印度文化的副产品.从石雕艺术来说,前吴哥时期很多神像的原型来源于印度,但雕刻风格,表现手法还是基于高棉文化自身的传统.对于高棉石雕来说,前吴哥时期的质朴,女皇宫时期的细腻、巴普昂时期的神韵、吴哥时期的精美都表现着高棉王朝各个时期的社会情感.然而随着历时6个多世纪的吴哥王朝最终土崩瓦解,代表永恒的石雕也不再出产,石雕艺人和技艺逐渐失传.今天我们只能通过留存下来的石雕作品来品味高棉石雕的艺术风采.
Khmer culture is a Cambodian’s own culture, rather than a by-product of Indian culture.Stanger stone art, many of the pre-Angkor statues originated in India, but the style of sculpture, performance is still based on Khmer culture’s own tradition. For the Khmer carvings, the simplicity of the pre-Angkorian period, the exquisiteness of the female palace period, the charm of the Ba’ang Aung period, and the exquisiteness of the Angkor period all reflect the social feelings in various periods of the Khmer dynasty. However, with the lapse of 6 Many Angkor dynasties eventually collapsed, representing the eternal stone carving is no longer produced, stone artistes and skills gradually lost.Now we can only survive through the stone work to taste Khmer stone art style.
