清末,修筑滇越铁路时,宜良是在云南境内重要的工程技术指挥与筑路物资包括后勤集中管理供应基地之一。1905年,清光绪三十一年,法国工程人员在宜良城郊放映露天无声电影,是云南最早的电影放映。这是盛世修志以来,《云南电影志》认定史实。距1895年法国科学家路易、卢米埃发明电影仅10年,和我国自己摄制电影是同年。宜良县自豪的是,2005年同是宜良与云南电影百年。1910年4月1日滇越铁路正式全线通车。宜良火车站放映露天电影盛大庆祝,宜良城及附近乡村群众观看盛况空前。此后,流行谚语“云南十八怪”之一“火车不通国内通国外”即指滇越铁路。
In the late Qing Dynasty, when building the Yunnan-Vietnam railway, Yiliang was one of the major engineering and technical command and road construction supplies and logistics supply and management bases in Yunnan. In 1905, thirty-one years of the Emperor Guangxu, French engineers in the suburbs of Yiliang show silent movie, is the earliest movie screenings in Yunnan. This is the history since the Spirit of Chihpen, “Yunnan Film” finds the facts. French scientists from 1895 to Louis, Lumière invented the movie only 10 years, and my own film is the same year. Yiliang County is proud to have Yiliang in 2005 and Yunnan Film for a hundred years. On April 1, 1910, the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway was officially opened to traffic. Yiliang Railway Station screening open-air movie grand celebration, Yiliang city and the nearby village masses to watch the grand occasion. Since then, the popular saying “one of Yunnan's eighteen strange” “train goes through China through foreign ” means the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway.
