广东汉剧自有专业编剧的历史以来,真正能跻身先进水平行列的剧作家为数不多,能接连写出新剧本并连续在广东获奖的唯有丹青,前无古人。 丹青创作的广东汉剧文学剧本数量多质量高,题材以挖掘传统剧目取其素材进行重新创作的为多。若论丹青剧作艺术成就,我觉得有几点值得一提。 广东汉剧的传统剧目本子多为师传手抄本,一部分是题纲戏,良莠混杂,文学性差,粗糙庸俗的情节、内容比比皆是。我们看丹青取材于传统剧目和改编的传统剧目,《昭君行》、《憾恋》读起来如同诗剧,《花灯案》、《包公与妞妞》、《寒衣谜》、《玉筝记》等剧本文采典雅华丽,古代人物的语言用现代语法和古代词汇恰当结合,从文学上造成远近感知,具有文学阅读
