We seldom put poor sanitation at the top when we think about the most catastrophic threats to the planet Bit. However, hygienic conditions, both in rural and urban areas, are significant (and in some cases immediate) triggers of illness and pollution. Every day, about 2 million tons of human excrement are discharged into the watercourse. Many factors, including such health problems, limit access to clean drinking water - especially in developing countries that often lack adequate treatment and sewerage facilities. Overall, there are currently 25 in all parts of the world
