各型汽车制动器的安装方式,因其各自结构的不同而不同。BJ130货车的制动器前轮采用自动增力式结构(见示意图),既不同于简单非平衡式结构如解放、东风240、NJ130等车,也不同于BJ212车的单向平衡式制动器,但易与NJ130车制动器相混淆。其混淆之处即在于:当车辆前进时简单非平衡式制动器的前蹄因压紧于制动鼓的力较大而被称为助势蹄,其摩擦衬片的磨损也较快;而后蹄则被称为减势蹄。为使前、后蹄衬片的磨损几乎相同,一般都将后蹄衬片减短以增加其单位压力。
