作为德国功能学派中最重要的理论,目的论为科技英语翻译提供一定的理论基础。在目的论的指导下,译文需作相应的变译来达到原文预期的目的。结合科技翻译实践,笔者从功能目的论的视角对科技英文翻译中的变译现象进行探讨,并辅以核工程方面的例子加以说明,以期抛砖引玉,涌现出更多的科技翻译佳作来。 As the most important theory in German functionalism, teleology provides a theoretical basis for EST translation. Under the guidance of Skopostheorie, the translation needs to be translated accordingly to achieve the original purpose of the original text. Combined with the practice of science and technology translation, the author discusses the phenomenon of translation in English translation of science and technology from the perspective of functional theory, supplemented by examples of nuclear engineering, with a view to throwing light on new ideas and bringing forth more outstanding works of science and technology translation.
