The performance of column foot made from cold-formed channel steel and hot-rolled angle wedge was studied. This is part of a study of gated steel frames made of single-span cold-formed flutes. The use of bolted corner wedges requires the development of simple connecting parts to be taken into account, thereby saving substantially the production cost of the steel structure industry. Hard wedges can be used to prevent the rupture of the column foot early. The column foot bearing 4 load configuration and depends on the load eccentricity. The use of cold-formed angle wedges in the column foot, column foot damage is mainly due to the early deformation of the angle wedge. As hot-rolled angle wedges so hard damage so often occurs in the channel instead of steel angle wedge. Finally, a large amount of pressure damage was found at the large edge of the load carrying capacity, and a simplified formula of the column foot was given.
