京剧“四小名旦”之一的毛世来先生,原系吉林省戏曲学校校长,现已离休。据毛世来先生回忆,京剧“四小名旦”有:李世芳、毛世来、张君秋和宋德珠。那还是一九三六年的事情。一些戏剧爱好者给报社写信,要求推选童伶“四小名旦”。“立言报”社社长金达志出面,在报上为此事发表通告启事。半个月后,报上公布了选举的结果:李世芳得五千八百票,毛世来五千票,张君秋四千八百票,宋德珠三千六百票。之后,又为李世芳举行了“加冕典礼”。并邀此四人在新新大戏院同台演出三天。 Mr. Mao Shilai, one of the four little famous actors of the Peking Opera, was originally retired as principal of the drama school in Jilin Province.
