在自建2008年北京奥运会、2012年伦敦奥运会和2016年里约奥运会3个语料库的基础上,利用语料库语言学的分析工具Keywords工具,对英国主流媒体BBC关于2008—2016年3届奥运会的中国报道进行分析,旨在探索中国国家形象在英国媒体的呈现特点和变化趋势。研究发现:BBC奥运报道中的中国形象呈现出奥运历史不长,但实行举国体制,发展较快、迅速崛起的体育强国形象;重视奥运,强烈的民族骄傲和民族自觉意识且友好的民族形象;诚信存疑、承载国家压力而奋力拼搏成为国家机器下的棋子但又慢慢呈现多元个性的运动员形象;及重视奥运,金牌至上、经济飞速发展,但环境污染、人权自由、网络安全、社会问题居多的政府形象。另外,BBC媒体在有关中国的新闻报道方面的一个变化趋势是,从以负面新闻报道为主到在尽量及时的反应速度和客观中立的立场下,以提供“事实性新闻”和“平衡性新闻”的方式报道中国,反映出外媒涉华报道日益多元化的现状。探析外国主流媒体在报道奥运赛事过程中所折射的一国国家及民族形象;为我政府的对外关系决策提供参考,为构造和建立一个有利于中国发展的国际形象提供依据。
Based on the three corpora built by Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, London Olympics in 2012 and Rio Olympic Games in 2016, using the tools of corpus linguistics analysis tools, this paper analyzes the influence of the mainstream British media BBC on the three Olympic Games in 2008-2016 The report analyzes and analyzes the characteristics and trends of the emergence of China’s national image in the British media. In addition, a trend of the BBC’s media coverage on China’s news reports is that from the perspective of negative news coverage and the timely and timely response and objective neutrality, the BBC media can provide “factual news” and “ Balanced news ”reporting on China, reflecting the increasingly diversified status quo of foreign media coverage of China. It analyzes the foreign and national image of a country refreshed by the foreign mainstream media in the coverage of the Olympic Games and provides reference for our government’s decision-making on the foreign relations and provides the basis for constructing and establishing an international image that is favorable to China’s development.
