一、问题的提出 近几年来,由于长期沿袭下来的陈旧的教学思想基本上仍然处于支配的地位,不适应现代化建设需要的传统教学模式仍然束缚着我们的头脑,致使我们的职业大学英语教学中依然存在着多种弊病,严重影响着教学质量的全面提高。现就因忽视语境教学而产生的主要问题分述于后。 1、重知识传授,轻整体教学。把内容连贯逻辑严密的课文肢解成互相分离、各自孤立的小段。不把注意力放在对课文内容的理解和掌握上,而是大讲词汇、死抠语法。讲词汇,广征博引,不厌其详,把与课文关系不大,甚至毫无关系的词汇意义和用法大量罗列;讲
