党的十八大报告指出,90多年来,我们党紧紧依靠人民,独立自主走自己的路,“开创和发展了中国特色社会主义,从根本上改变了中国人民和中华民族的前途命运。”在90多年的光辉历程中,我们党领导的统一战线为中国的革命、建设和改革发展作出了卓越贡献。在长期社会实践中,统一战线的发展壮大蕴含着内在规律,探索把握其中的规律,对于提高我们的思想理论水平,深入学习领会党的十八精神具有重要意义。
The report of the 18th CPC National Congress pointed out: For more than 90 years, our party has firmly relied on the people and independently pursued its own path. “The creation and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics has fundamentally changed the future and destiny of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation.” In the glorious course of more than 90 years, the united front led by our party has made outstanding contributions to China’s revolution, construction, and reform and development. In long-term social practice, the development and expansion of the united front contain inherent laws, and exploration and grasping of the laws therein are of great significance in raising our level of ideological and theoretical thinking and in thoroughly studying and understanding the spirit of the 18th Party.
