蔡雯和李青藜发表引介公共新闻的两篇文章之后,公共新闻事业在国内得到了较大关注。此篇论文对公共新闻事业在美国发展的起因和发展历程进行粗浅的溯源。Jay Rosen是美国“公共新闻事业”(又称公民新闻事业)改革运动的主要运动领导人,文中介绍了他对公共新闻事业的思考。这种引进将对公共新闻事业是否适合在我国发展做出一个平面坐标和美式思维模式,以供后来的学人思考。
After Wen Wen and Li Zhizhen published two articles introducing public news, public journalism got more attention in China. This essay traces the origins and development of public journalism in the United States. Jay Rosen is a leading sports leader in the reform movement in the United States for “Public Journalism,” introducing his thinking on public journalism. This introduction will be suitable for public journalism in our development to make a plane coordinate and American thinking mode for later scholars to think.
